My SSN does not work when logging in
If you are trying to enter your SSN in the login box in the field titled User ID, this will not allow you to login. Your Social Security Number, the 9 digit number that the government gives you as an identification number, is used in three instances on MyFRS.com:
- During the first time registration of your user profile.
- To unlock your account.
- To retrieve a forgotten password.
Please make sure you are not trying to log in with your SSN. You must use your new User ID in the field to log in. If you have not yet registered your new User ID or Password, click this button:
My PIN does not work when logging in
If you are trying to enter your PIN in the login box in the field titled Password, this will not allow you to login.
Your Personal Identification Number, the number assigned to you by the state of Florida sent in your New Employee Enrollment Kit is used for first time registration to set up your user profile on MyFRS.
Once registered, you need to keep your PIN in a safe place because you will need it in the future when calling the MyFRS Financial Guidance Line, but you will use the user name/password combination you chose going forward on MyFRS. Please make sure you are not trying to log in using your PIN. If you have not yet registered your new User ID or Password, click this button:
If you cannot remember your PIN
I have forgotten my User ID or Password, or have locked my account
MyFRS strongly suggests that you store your SSN, PIN, User ID and Password in a safe place upon initial user profile registration.
If you have forgotten your User ID or password, or you have been locked out of your account after 5 unsuccessful login attempts, you will need to enter your SSN and your date of birth for validation. Once validated, you will be presented with your secret questions. Upon answering your secret questions, your User ID will be emailed to you along with a randomly generated password. You will use this to login to MyFRS.com.
It is strongly recommend that you change your password at this time back to something you will remember in the future.
I have forgotten the answers to my secret questions
You will need to contact the MyFRS Financial Guidance Line:
Once there, you will need to request your MyFRS User Profile be reset. Once your MyFRS Profile has been reset, you will need to re-register your SSN and PIN and choose a new User ID and Password.
